School Description
The Whitworth School offers a junior-kindergarten through 8th grade accelerated program. Students learn traditional academic subjects as well as research, drama, art, music, values, foreign language, PE and study skills. Each student receives an academic assessment and individualized program to "catch up" on any missing skills or weak areas before advancing. In this way, student mastery of vital subjects is guaranteed.
Because we highly value literacy, our excellent reading program starts in junior-kindergarten and continues throughout each grade level. By the time a student graduates, he or she will have read over 1,000 books including readers, historical fiction, non-fiction, biographies, poetry, mysteries and history books.

This school is the best. The teachers and administrators care very much about each child, the academics are unsurpassed with a unique program where the child goes at his or her own pace (and pushed to excel). My children are happy and knowledgeable in a surprising number of areas. They go on regular educational field trips. Their reading and math levels are amazing for their age. I wholeheartedly recommend this school to any parent who is looking for the best school.
